SAESL has awarded ASS with a 12 Month contract to provide comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Services for the 3 No. Engine Strip and Build Platforms located at their Calshot Road, Singapore facility.

ASS has been performing the PM Services since the Systems went live. SAESL has also engaged ASS to perform additional tasks associated with system improvements.

Further to completing the implementation of the All-In-One Logistics System, The Bin Handling System and the Pallet Handling System at the Oman Air Catering (OAC) Centre at the Muscat International Airport, Oman, Galfar SAOG have awarded Automation Support Services with a 10.5 Month contract to provide Preventive Maintenance and Call-Out Support Services for the systems. ASS will perform Quarterly PM checks and provide support cover on a 365day x 24 hour basis.

ASS’s Site Manager, Mark Skevington, will provide the 1^st level of support being based in Muscat for the duration of the contract. Mark has been instrumental in the mechanical and controls installation for the systems.

Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) have awarded Automation Support Services with a 12 Month contract to provide Preventive Maintenance and Call-Out Support Services for the Cart Transport Management System (CTMS), Buffer Management System (BMS), Cart Transport System (CTS) and the Materials Handling System (MHS) at the SICC2 facility Singapore. ASS will perform Quarterly PM checks and provide support cover on a 365day x 24 hour basis.

Rolls-Royce have awarded Automation Support Services with a 12 Month contract to provide Preventive Maintenance and Call-Out Support Services for the Engine Assembly Flow Lines at the Seletar facility Singapore. ASS will perform PM checks and provide support cover on a 365day x 24 hour basis.

Eagle Services Pte Ltd, a Pratt Whitney/SIA Engineering Joint Venture Company, has awarded ASS with a 12 Month contract to provide comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Services for the 2 No. Engine Strip and Build Platforms located at their Calshot Road, Singapore facility.

Via a separate Purchase Order, Eagle Services has instructed ASS to carry out modifications to the Platforms Control Systems to improve the operators experience and visualization of the operations.

ASS are pleased to announce that GKN Driveline Malaysia are the latest company to embrace the ZoneSafe System. GKN are a Global business, serving the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers. GKN develops, builds and supplies an extensive range of automotive driveline products and systems.

ASS will install ZoneSafe to 3 vehicles located at the GKN Driveline distribution facility in Penang Malaysia. The complete package includes for the ZoneSafe detection equipment, together with Vibra Tags and a Tag Testing Unit.

ASS’s technical team will install and commission the equipment during April 2019.

ASS have entered into a Pilot Project with Yang Kee Singapore to install ZoneSafe to a Reach Stacker vehicle located at Yang Kee’s Container Depot in Tuas.

Yang Kee were established in 1990 with an initial fleet of 2 vehicles as a trucking company. As of today, the company serves as an end-to-end global supply chain logistics partner with a presence in 11 countries.

ASS will install a Dual Antennae System to the Reach Stacker for analysis by Yank Kee’s safety professionals. The Pilot is being jointly funded by ASS and Yang Kee.

ASS are pleased to announce that they have appointed Alt24 as their sales and marketing partner. Alt24 are a relatively new start-up founded by a team of experienced and known professionals. Alt24 will assist ASS with their marketing requirements for their range of products and services. Initial emphasis will be given to our All-in-One Logistics System (ALS), ZoneSafe Safety equipment, and FormFilla products.

Alt24 will work with the ASS management and sales team to provide a sales and marketing strategy.

From its humble beginning as a transport and logistics company since 1975, SamWoh has morphed into a leading integrated construction company which provides a full suite of engineering services. These services include the supply of building materials and precast concrete components, recycling of construction and industrial wastes, research and development as well as pavement consultancy services.

In late November 2018, SamWoh had requested for a short presentation and demonstration of ZoneSafe at one of their sites located at Changi South, Singapore. One week after the initial presentation, SamWoh invited ASS for another short demonstration with one of their clients, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), as they were interested to know more about the ZoneSafe System. LTA was impressed, and strongly believes that ZoneSafe System will help to enhance the health and safety culture on site. SAMWOH has requested for a pilot project (2 months) at one of LTA’s construction sites, and requested for the a ZoneSafe Unit to be install onto one of their Volvo excavators.

SamWoh and LTA has agreed with the total costing of the pilot project and at will commence in late February 2019.

On the 19th January 2019, BlueScope ASS has installed a ZoneSafe Proximity Warning System onto one of their 10 Ton forklift trucks and Bluescope has provided valuable post installation feedback; they explained how impressed they were, and how well the system had been received by the workers on site.

Bluescope expressed that ZoneSafe positively impacted on safety immediately, and the reality was that there was a real need for this system than had first been anticipated.

Singapore Aero Engine Services Ltd (SAESL) has awarded ASS with a short-term contract to perform Preventive Maintenance Services to 3 No. Vertical Engine Strip and Build Platforms located at their facility in Calshot Road Singapore.

ASS were the original installers of the equipment during 2017 and will provide an initial overhaul/PM service to the Platforms.

The ASS ZoneSafe Technical and Sales Team embarked on a road trip to Malaysia to showcase the ZoneSafe range of products to interested clients. The roadshow was initiated from response to the recent OS+HA exhibition in Singapore.

The team visited clients including Exxon Mobil, Nestle and Pearl Flex. The trip was hectic and included a drive from Singapore to Terengganu at the North Eastern tip of Malaysia.

The trip has resulted in positive interest from the clients to implement ZoneSafe at their facilities. Pearl Flex are a training provider who would like to include the promotion of ZoneSafe in to their curriculum.

ASS have created an innovative ‘ZoneSafe wall’ at their head office in Kaki Bukit to provide a location for product discussion with potential clients in a relaxed environment. The wall features equipment, videos, and data posters, showing all of the latest ZoneSafe products.

Automation Support Services Pte Ltd have been awarded a substantial contract to provide various automated solutions to Galfar Engineering and Contracting S.A.O.G. Galfar, who are one of the largest companies in the Sultanate of Oman, are providing the turnkey project/solution to Oman Air for a new In-Flight Catering Centre located at the recently completed airport in Muscat.

ASS have been contracted to install an extensive Bin Handling Conveyor System, complete with PLC and SCADA Controls, install Pallet Handling Conveyors, complete with PLC Controls, and an extensive Ethernet Network Infrastructure complete with wireless capability.

ASS will be providing a complex Warehouse Management System utlilising their proven ‘All- In-One Logistics Solution’ ALS. The overall system includes for the server equipment and client hardware, together with hand held equipment.

ASS were selected for the project based on their extensive experience installing and maintaining automated equipment in the In-Flight Catering Industry.
